Prof. Dr. Tobias Rothmund · Professor für Kommunikations- und Medienpsychologie
Tobias Rothmund ist Professor für Kommunikations- und Medienpsychologie an der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena und leitet dort das KomRex (Zentrum für Rechtsextremismusforschung, Demokratiebildung und gesellschaftliche Integration). Er ist Principal Investigator im Exzellenzcluster Imaginamics der Universität Jena und Teil der verteilten DFG-Forschungsgruppe Beyond Cracy.
In seiner Forschung verbindet er sozialpsychologische und kommunikationswissenschaftliche Perspektiven auf politisches Erleben und Verhalten. Er arbeitet zu unterschiedlichen Gerechtigkeitsvorstellungen, politischen Voreingenommenheiten und Ideologien, Desinformation und Verschwörungsmythen sowie zu politischer Radikalisierung und Polarisierungsdynamiken.
